In honor of the warm summer months to come, and rather then read yet another Nicholas Sparks tear-jerker, we’ve put together a list of our top 3 favorite books that will put you on the path to total wellness this season.

Since farmers started planting seeds thousands of years ago, we have been destroying their true intended purpose and health benefits. This cookbook/history lesson will enlighten the reader by providing fun and informational recipes using whole ingredients found at your local farmers market. Robinson’s years of scientific research has found the solution to our nutritional problems as she us to get back to our roots.
“Eat the Yolks” by Liz Wolfe
For those of you who have been living on egg whites and turkey bacon, this is the book you’ve been waiting for. Liz Wolfe goes on a one-woman mission aimed at de-bunking all the myths the health food industry has told you your whole life. From fats to protein, to carbs and nutrients, Wolfe breaks open the current state of nutritional affairs and uses her snarky writing style to keep the reader having fun.
“The Little Book of Stress Relief” by David Posen, M.D.
Stress is always going to be a part of your life. A little stress is good and can lead to increased productivity. A lot of stress however, causes fatigue, feelings of helplessness and a ton of other health complication. In his book, Dr. Posen gives us 52 (one for each week) ways to make informed choices about stress and regaining control over our lives. The 2-3 page chapters make it a quick and easy read that will do wonders for your mind and body.
